Raised in the vibrant city of Caguas, Puerto Rico, Dr. Ciro M. Martinez, DC, Clinic Director, developed a passion for sports, rehabilitation, and community health from an early age. His path into chiropractic care was shaped by years of hands-on experience in athletic training and physical therapy, giving him a deep understanding of how movement, strength, and recovery connect to overall well-being. Today, he combines that knowledge with compassionate care to help patients live healthier, more active lives.

Dr. Martinez earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce, where he worked with various sports teams, including basketball, soccer, baseball, and volleyball. He later spent five years working in a physical therapy office, further honing his clinical skills, before earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. There, he graduated with honors and was awarded the Lorraine Welch Memorial Award for his commitment to mentoring and academic excellence.

Board certified and highly experienced, Dr. Martinez offers a comprehensive approach to care, utilizing techniques such as Diversified Adjustments, Activator Method, Flexion/Distraction, Thompson Drop, Nimmo Soft Tissue Therapy, and Sports Chiropractic to tailor treatments for each patient’s unique needs.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Martinez stays active by playing basketball, hiking, and exploring nature with his wife, Kristal, and their three daughters. His dedication to family, wellness, and service shines through in every patient interaction.
