AmeriWell Policy: Firearms and Weapons

At AmeriWell, the safety and well-being of our patients and staff are our top priorities. We are committed to creating a peaceful and secure environment for everyone who visits our clinics, including our locations in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. In line with this commitment, we have implemented a strict policy regarding firearms and weapons.

Firearms and Weapons Policy:

No Firearms Allowed: Firearms of any kind, including handguns, rifles, and shotguns, are strictly prohibited on our premises. We do not allow open carry or concealed carry of firearms.

No Weapons Allowed: In addition to firearms, we also do not permit any type of weapons on our premises. This includes but is not limited to knives, tasers, pepper spray, or any other item that could be considered a weapon.

Exceptions for Law Enforcement: Law enforcement officers in the performance of their duties are exempt from this policy. However, we request that they identify themselves and provide proper identification upon arrival.

We understand and respect the importance of personal safety, but our goal is to maintain a safe, peaceful, and secure space for all individuals in our care, regardless of the clinic’s location. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
