Dr. Hiram BJ Rivera Sanchez, DC, Clinic Director, brings a vibrant energy and a genuine passion for patient care to AmeriWell Clinics. Born and raised in the beautiful town of Ciales, Puerto Rico, he has always believed in the power of movement, wellness, and a positive attitude to transform lives.

He began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce. Driven by a passion for helping others, he continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida, where he graduated with honors. After completing his studies, he moved to the Washington metropolitan area and proudly serves the community as a Board Certified chiropractor.

Today, you can find him providing expert chiropractic care at AmeriWell Takoma Park, located at 7505 New Hampshire Ave, Suite 320, Takoma Park, MD 20912 — AmeriWell’s original and flagship location. His treatments include Diversified Adjustments, rehabilitation therapies, Flexion/Distraction, and soft tissue mobilizations, all focused on promoting comfort, mobility, and faster recovery for his patients.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Rivera Sanchez is a passionate sports enthusiast who enjoys playing baseball, softball, and staying active through hiking and outdoor adventures across the DMV area. His warm personality, enthusiasm for health, and dedication to his patients make every visit a positive and uplifting experience.
