We have exciting news to share with you. At AmeriWell, we are proud to support the athletes of Special Olympics El Salvador at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023. Recently, our team had the honor of attending a fundraising dinner for Special Olympics El Salvador. During the dinner, we were speechless as we heard the recognition given to our very own Karla. We are thrilled to know that Samuel, our swimmer, also had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with Doctor Kristal!
As legendary basketball coach John Wooden once said, ‘Sports do not build character, they reveal it.’ At AmeriWell, we believe that sports are a powerful tool that can bring people together and promote inclusion. All athletes have the potential to achieve greatness, and we are committed to helping them make it a reality.
That’s why we stand behind our Special Olympics El Salvador athletes and wish them all the success at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023. We can’t wait to see them compete at the highest level and showcase their unique talents to the world!
The Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 is a global sports competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities. This competition will take place in the city of Berlin, Germany, in the summer of 2023. Around 7,000 athletes from over 170 different countries are expected to participate in a wide range of sports, such as swimming, athletics, gymnastics, football, basketball, and many more.
The Special Olympics World Games are held every two years and are an opportunity for athletes with intellectual disabilities to compete at the highest level and showcase their unique skills and talents to the world. The games are also an important event for promoting inclusion and acceptance worldwide.
The event will be a celebration of the athletes’ ability and determination, and a testament to how sports can bring people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities together. The athletes from Special Olympics El Salvador have worked hard and prepared for the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, and we are excited to see them compete in this globally recognized event.
