Dr. Anam Malik grew up in Northern Virginia and attended Howard University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine. Her passion for healthcare and helping others led her to getting her Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. While pursuing her doctorate, she joined the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and completed her Masters of Science in Acupuncture.
In upstate New York, she gained experience working in community clinic settings and at the Veteran’s Association Hospital. Dr. Malik holds certifications in Prenatal Care with Webster Technique, Custom Stabilizing Orthotics, Activator, Nimmo, Whole Foods Nutrition and Clean Needle Technique. Her training includes chiropractic techniques such as diversified manual manipulation, flexion distraction, drop table, and therapeutic kinesiology taping, as well as, Eastern medicine techniques such as cupping,gua-sha, tui-na, and other various acupuncture methods.
Dr. Malik’s focus is to get patients out of pain and aid the patients in reaching optimal health and wellness. She is licensed and board certified by the Virginia Board of Medicine and by the Maryland Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
