Dr. Khadeeja Smith was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She attended Houghton College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors. During her studies at Houghton, she served as a teaching assistant, helping students achieve success by delivering tutoring services. Dr. Smith’s holistic perspective led her to earn a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College, where she is a member of the Chi Omega Honor Society.
Dr. Smith is passionate about community outreach and has not only serviced her local community she has extended her service internationally, working with Bridges Medical Mission, a non-profit organization in Guyana. While serving on the medical mission, she worked alongside doctors of various specialties offering healthcare services to remote villages.
Now, as a Board Certified Chiropractor, Dr. Smith’s priority is to maintain her patients’ optimal health. She accomplishes this by promoting and encouraging preventive care that reduces the risk of musculoskeletal injuries. Dr. Smith’s biopsychosocial approach recognizes the interconnected influences on human health as she creates treatment plans.
