With over 15 years of trusted service, AmeriWell Clinics continues to lead in patient-centered care and as of April 2026, Dr. Matthew Tilkin serves as Chief Operating Officer, helping drive the organization’s next phase of growth, innovation, and clinical excellence.

Dr. Tilkin joined AmeriWell in April 2019, quickly standing out for his precision, results, and commitment to patient care. His leadership led to his promotion as Regional Clinic Director, where he successfully oversaw multiple locations, elevated clinical standards, and supported the expansion of AmeriWell’s footprint across the region.

Raised in Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Tilkin graduated with Honors from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before earning his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College. He further advanced his expertise through a 3-year post-doctoral program in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and earned the prestigious Diplomate of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists designation.

His clinical foundation includes a residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he treated active-duty military personnel in a multidisciplinary setting. He is board-certified and licensed in Maryland and Virginia, and holds advanced certifications in Graston Technique, FAKTR, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Active Release Technique, Class IV Laser Therapy, Dry Needling, and Acupuncture.

As Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Tilkin leads clinical operations across AmeriWell’s network, focusing on delivering consistent, high quality, evidence based care. His leadership is centered on improving patient outcomes, supporting providers, and ensuring every clinic operates at the highest standard.
