AmeriWell Clinics has been proudly helping the community for over 14 years, and Dr. Matthew Tilkin, DC, DIANM, PSP plays a key role in continuing that mission of care and excellence.

Raised in Bethesda, MD, Dr. Tilkin graduated with Honors from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. His passion for Anatomy and Neurobiology led him to earn his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College, where he excelled academically.

Committed to providing the highest standard of care, Dr. Tilkin completed a 3-year advanced post-doctoral program in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and holds the prestigious Diplomate of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DACO) designation. His training includes certifications in Graston Technique, FAKTR, Taping for myofascial injuries, NIMMO, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Active Release Technique, Class IV Laser Therapy, Dry Needling, and Acupuncture.

Dr. Tilkin brings extensive clinical experience, including a residency at the renowned Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, where he treated active military personnel in a multidisciplinary environment. He is board-certified and licensed by the Maryland Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Virginia Board of Medicine. He is also a member of the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation and holds an Advanced Certificate in Sports Science and Human Performance.

He focuses on delivering customized, evidence-based treatment plans designed for safe, fast, and lasting results. Known for his approachable and caring style, Dr. Tilkin takes the time to listen to his patients, helping them feel comfortable and confident in their care.
